With a touring fit profile and a traditional ¾ length fit, the RST Maverick jacket is the ideal jacket for many motorcycle riders.

The Maverick Jacket features a MaxTex outer construction, offering a robust outer construction capable of performing perfectly over many miles. This MaxTex construction is naturally abrasion resistant and is paired with a Ballistic textile overlay at key areas for even greater protection at areas which typically suffer heavily in accident scenarios.

For additional protection, the RST Maverick Jacket features a complete suite of CE approved armour, helping to dissipate impact energy at key areas. This CE approved armour is fitted to dedicated pockets at the back, shoulder and elbow to ensure that the armour remains where it can be most effective. These pockets feature a Velcro closure which makes the armour within the jacket removable should you choose to. Passive protection comes in the form of reflective detailing found at the exterior of the jacket, maximising your visibility in low light conditions and when riding in wet weather.

Thanks to the inclusion of two removable internal linings, the RST Maverick Evo Textile jacket truly proves its versatility as an all-weather commuting and touring jacket. The SinAqua waterproof membrane keeps your base layers dry should you get caught out in the worst of the weather using traditional microporous waterproofing technology. The waterproof membrane consists of many microscopic holes, small enough to prevent water from permeating through to your base layers but large enough to allow water vapour (sweat) to escape from within the jacket. This ensures that you remain fresh and dry when you reach your destination, inside and out.

Should you find yourself touring through a colder continent, or commuting through the winter months, you’ll be pleased to know that this textile motorcycle jacket comes with a full length hollowfill thermal lining. Designed to offer an additional layer of insulation, but without adding too much bulk, this 100g thermal lining is fully removable with simple zippers when the weather begins to improve. Behind the thermal lining lies a quick drying mesh interior liner so even when the thermal lining and waterproof linings are removed, the RST Maverick Jacket is a welcoming and comfortable environment, no matter how many miles you’re covering.

Thanks to the removable linings, riders can make the most of the RST Maverick Jacket’s ventilation openings. Large capacity chest vents and long length arm ventilation areas help to channel large amounts of cool air into the jacket when riding, a welcomed feature for summer riders and touring bikers alike. These ventilation areas extend to the rear of the jacket, with two smaller zipped exhaust vents to help warm stale air escape from within the Maverick Jacket for a complete cooling experience.

Two large capacity box pockets feature a waterproof built in lining to help keep your road essentials safe and dry, while behind these box pockets lie two zipped handwarmer pockets with fleece linings, the perfect place to keep your cold hands after a winter ride. You’ll also find a map pocket at the rear of the Maverick Jacket, a nod to the jacket’s touring potential and perfect for keeping maps, documentation any anything else that you may require quick and easy access to.
