Created in a MaxTex textile material outer construction, the RST Endurance Jacket is perfect for long distance riding. The textile composition offers incredible abrasion resistance, easily withstanding the intense friction that occurs when sliding across tarmac at high speed. You’ll also find a ballistic textile overlay at the shoulders to further the abrasion resistant properties of the jacket at an area that typically suffers in accident scenarios.

Binding the RST Endurance Jacket together is a corespun polyester thread, helping to improve the strength of the jacket by reducing the chances of a blowout occurring at the seams. With such a strong outer construction, its easy to see how the Endurance jacket has achieved the double A standard at CE testing. Despite how protective this textile touring jacket is, the RST Endurance features accordion stretch panelling to help aid movement for greater comfort over longer distances without restriction from the materials.

Protection from impacts is important too, which is why the RST Endurance Textile Jacket features pockets for CE approved armour. CE Level 1 shoulder armour and CE Level 1 elbow armour are included as standard, and help to cushion the blow when subjected to impacts at these areas. You’ll also find a pocket to house a CE approved back protector should you choose to upgrade the protection in your new textile motorcycle jacket.

When mother nature decides to throw her worst at you, the RST Endurance Jacket can endure it all. A SinAqua breathable waterproof membrane helps to keep the wet weather away from your base layers by using traditional microporous waterproofing technology. The microporous layer consists of copious amounts of microscopic holes, small enough to keep water molecules from seeping in but large enough to allow water vapour (sweat) to escape. This ensures that you remain fresh and dry when you reach your destination, inside and out.

Should your find yourself touring through a colder continent, or commuting through the winter months, you’ll be pleased to know that this textile motorcycle jacket comes with a full length hollowfill thermal lining. Designed to offer an additional layer of insulation, but without adding too much bulk, this 100g thermal lining is fully removable with simple zippers when the weather begins to improve. Behind the thermal lining lies a quick drying mesh interior liner so even when the thermal lining is removed, the RST Endurance Jacket is a welcoming and comfortable environment, no matter how many miles you’re covering.

With the thermal lining removed, you’re left with a comfortable summer motorcycle jacket which allows you to make the most of the multiple ventilation points on the RST Endurance Jacket. The inclusion of two lower arm vents to help channel air into the sleeves while riding and two ventilation openings at the chest help to keep you comfortable when riding in warmer weather.

As an innovative solution to your ventilation needs, the upper chest ventilation points feature a hook and loop system to help open the upper vents as wide as possible and keep them open too. This helps to channel even more air into the jacket. You’ll also find two rear exhaust vents to help all the warm, stale air escape from within the jacket for a complete cooling experience. All these ventilation areas feature rubberised taped zips to help keep the moisture from entering in at these points, retaining the waterproof nature of the Endurance Jacket.

In any touring jacket, storage opportunities are a must! This RST Textile Jacket features two large waterproof outer box pockets, perfect for storing the essentials and two napoleon pockets which are ideal for storing smaller items. Behind the box pockets lie two hand warmer pockets which are fleece lined to help warm up your hands after a cold commute to work. Additionally, you’ll also find a rear map pocket which is lined with the same SinAqua waterproof breathable membrane and is the perfect place to store maps, documents and other items that you don’t want to crinkle or crease.
