Alpinestars Gloves
The current range of Alpinestars Gloves has got all bases covered. Whether you're after full-flight race gloves, sports road gloves, serious street gloves or waterproof and warm winter gloves, the Alpinestars gloves range leaves little to be desired. Read More…
At the top of the Alpinestars gloves range are the GP Pro Gloves. Already an existing line in the Alpinestars collection, the GP Pro gloves are constructed using perforated high quality leather, and have been re-released with new colours and some slight re-styling.
Another superb road/race glove comes in the form of the Alpinestars GP Plus gloves. These Alpinestars gloves are a repeated favourite having been in the collection for a couple of years. With a bridged third and fourth finger, PU knuckle and finger sliders and an inner kevlar lining, these full leather gloves are quite remarkably priced at just £129.99
Similarly, the SP-2 and SP-8 gloves are two more pairs of Alpinestars Gloves which are suited to sports/race pursuits. With a considerably smaller price tag, you'll still have a superb all-leather glove with reinforced knuckles and a suede palm panel, and of course, the Alpinestars kudos.
On the other hand (no pun intended!), if you're looking for a pair of Alpinestars gloves which can stand up to the rigors of all-weather riding, then you might be more interested in some waterproof, textile Alpinestars gloves. Our favourite for this year has to be the Yukon gloves which, despite being a leather/textile combination glove, offer warmth and waterproofing through the use of a slim-line thermal inner liner and Alpinestars own Drystar waterproof and breathable membrane.
The Alpinestars Tech Road Goretex gloves are another really popular all-weather waterproof glove. Again a combination leather/textile glove, these Alpinestars gloves make use of the remarkable waterproof and breathable incorporated membrane, GoreTex. Couple this with reinforced knuckles and a thoughtful design which leads to incredible rider comfort, and the Alpinestars Jet Road GoreTex gloves are a great choice.
For a simple unarmoured winter glove, we would also recommend the Alpinestars WR-V GoreTex gloves. Replacing the earlier WR-3 gloves, the WR-V Alpinestars gloves are probably the most affordable GoreTex glove that you'll find anywhere. With guaranteed waterproofing and warmth, these should also be a consideration.
