Built for long journeys the jacket is equipped with functions for all four seasons - an option for if you're traveling across or even within countries where the weather's changeable. The ventilation points, positioned at the cuffs, chest and upper back create a breathable environment where air can flow inside the jacket, draw warmth from your skin, and exhaust at the rear. This keeps you cool in warmer climates - providing you've removed the 120 gram thermal liner so air can flow and you aren't carrying extra warmth. Of course, when temperatures drop down again you can zip the thermal layer back in and benefit from the waterproof, windproof layer which will keep you dry and protected against windchill, along with the breathability preventing clinging when you become warm. This is also removable if it's adding extra weight on a dry, sunny day.

Inside the Weise W-Tex Touring Jacket, tucked away in the vulnerable areas, there's Knox® CE approved armour - new for 2017. This microlock armour is soft until you collide with a surface, it locks on contact, shielding you against impact and abrasion. Armour is often ineffective in extreme temperatures but Knox® have tested this forward-thinking armour and developed it to ensure it's stable across all climates; hot and cold. A match made in four-season touring jacket heaven.

Additional features of the jacket include external hand warmer pockets, slip your hands inside to keep them snug, off your bike. There's also four pockets - at the chest and waist bursting with room for your keys, phone or pens to write a postcard! You can also tuck a map into the rear back pocket if you're so navigationally inclined. This is along with the provided W-Tex Over Jeans - an added bonus for keeping your legs dry in unexpected rain.

Adjust the jacket to fit you with the waist poppers - helping to reduce billowing - then close up the Velcro® strap at the neck so your front's covered. Attach these to a pair of Weise textile trousers to prevent the jacket from riding up and exposing your skin to potential injury.
