Now back in its third incarnation, the Spada Tucson Jacket is an incredibly versatile textile motorcycle jacket. From commuting to touring, the Spada Tucson Jacket takes it all in its stride and leaves you ready for anything when you reach your destination.

A 600 denier polyester textile makes for a hardwearing outer construction, offering a comfortable and flexible outer material that can also withstand the intense friction that you may experience in an accident scenario. This outer material is double stitched throughout, maximising the strength of the Tuscon Jacket and minimising the chances of seam failure when subjected to the intense abrasion when sliding across the road surface.

The protective elements continue beneath the surface. CE approved armour is fitted to the Spada Tucson Jacket at the back, shoulder and elbows as standard, helping to effectively dispel impact energy away from these key areas in the event of an accident. This helps to limit damage at these areas and speed up your recovery. These armour pads are fitted into dedicated armour pockets within the jacket to ensure that the armour remains in the right place when it is needed most, but these pockets are closed with a Velcro closure which makes the armour removable should you choose to. Passive protection comes in the form of reflective detailing at the exterior of the jacket, enhancing your visibility when riding in low light conditions.

In a technical textile motorcycle jacket, protection from the elements is important too. The Spada Tucson V3 Jacket features a 5k waterproof membrane which is microporous in its construction. This waterproof membrane consists of a copious amount of microscopic holes that are small enough to prevent water entry into the jacket but large enough to allow water vapour (sweat) to escape from within the jacket, leaving you fresh and dry when you reach your destination. As an additional level of versatility, this membrane in completely removable from the jacket in the summer months and quickly reattached with a simple zipper system should the situation call for it.

As an additional layer of insulation within the Tucson V3 Jacket, you’ll find a plush quilted thermal lining, helping to keep your core temperature warm when riding in cooler conditions. This thermal lining is also fully removable, meaning you can strip this layer away and leave a lighter, summer focussed textile motorcycle jacket.

With both layers removed from within the jacket, riders are free to make the most of the ventilation openings at the chest. These ventilation openings are opened, closed and held open with a useful magnet system, allowing for easy on the go adjustment to your ventilation while riding. You’ll also find twin zipped exhaust ventilation openings for a complete cooling experience. Additional comforts come in the form of accordion stretch panelling found at the shoulders and underarms of the Tucson V3 Jacket, incorporated into the jacket to maximise the freedom of movement and a useful inclusion for those who plan to tour on their motorcycle.

Thanks to variable adjustment points around the Spada Tucson V3 Jacket, riders can easily tailor the fit and feel of their new Spada textile jacket to suit their body shape. These adjustment points can be found at the upper arm, forearm and waist areas, allowing you to take up the available space with both linings removed, or to accommodate an additional layer underneath in the cooler months of the year.

A textile touring jacket requires plenty of storage space for your road essentials. Both the large box pockets at the front of the Tucson V3 Jacket and the large rear map pocket are ideal for storing items which you may require quick access to and are waterproof lined for protection from the elements, even with the waterproof membrane removed.
