Returning with improvements and ECE 22:06 approval, the HJC i71 helmet builds upon the HJC i70 helmet, a firm favourite with many bikers thanks to its premium features without the premium price. The new HJC i71 holds firm to this philosophy, delivering an excellent sports touring helmet that won’t break the bank.

Created in HJC’s Advanced Polycarbonate Composite, the i71 retains its competitive price without sacrificing your safety, easily passing the required testing for the stringent new ECE 22:06 helmet standards. This polycarbonate outer construction is lightweight, comfortable and in three shell sizes across the six available sizes to choose from, offering a superbly ergonomic fit regardless of your chosen size.

With two large front facing intake vents, the HJC RPHA i71 channels cool air directly into the helmet while you ride. The large chin vent helps to bring cool air into the helmet across the visor to help with demisting, while the sizeable crown vent brings air into the helmet to cool your head while you ride and channel the warm air out through the two exhaust vents found at the rear of the helmet.

The new HJC i71 helmet features a clear outer visor as standard with an anti-scratch treatment to help prolong the lifespan of your visor, granting clearer vision for longer. This visor is also Pinlock ready and features a Pinlock anti-mist insert included in the box as standard which is easily fitted to the visor. This aids in preventing the misting of the visor for a time, leaving you with uninterrupted vision of the road.

A retractable integrated sun visor is included to further your comfort and safety by shielding your eyes from bright sunlight while riding, and is easily deployed with a sliding mechanism at the lower left of the helmet. New for the HJC i71, the position of the sun visor can be adjusted to suit your needs, moving the sun visor forward towards the chin bar of the helmet. This is done via a sliding toggle hidden beneath the left hand recessed cut out and moves the visor from its default position to 5mm further forward or 10mm further forward.

The interior paddings of the HJC i-71 pads feature superior moisture wicking and fast drying capabilities, drawing water away from your head when sweating and spreading this over a wider area for faster evaporation. The crown pad and cheek pads of the HJC I 71 are removable and washable, allowing you to prolong the fresh helmet feeling for longer. Two Wheel Centre recommends hand washing interior linings and allowing to dry naturally to avoid distortion or damage to your interior linings. The interior of the helmet also features recessed speaker pockets and recesses in the outer shell, designed to incorporate the latest in Smart HJC Bluetooth intercom kits.
