The Freecom 2x features a slim, aerodynamic design with just a 37g weight addition, meaning you’ll hardly notice the addition of the unit to your helmet with an aerodynamic design to limit wind resistance when riding. With Bluetooth 5.2 connectivity, you’ll experience a stronger, more secure pairing to your devices along with faster pairing capabilities and longer lasting battery life.

New to the Freecom 2x is the Live Intercom, a feature which allows for automatic reconnection to your riding partner if they separate from you while riding, without pressing any buttons for up to ten minutes. The Freecom 2x is an ideal two-way rider-to-rider intercom for you and your riding partner, with a range of 800m. This intercom can also be used as a solo kit as well as rider to pillion too.

The addition for 40mm high-definition speakers with audio engineered by JBL audio makes for a truly immersive audio experience while riding. Riders can listen to music stored on their phone or through a streaming service as well as crystal clear audio for your phone conversations. The Freecom 2x allows for connection to two Bluetooth devices, meaning that riders can connect to both their smartphone and Bluetooth compatible GPS navigation system and receive navigation instructions too.

The Cardo Freecom 2x also includes a built-on FM radio with a six station pre-set memory, allowing the rider to tune in to the radio while riding and change the station effortlessly for traffic updates, weather updates and more from the local area. An automatic volume adjustment system with the Cardo Freecom 2x adjustments the volume of your music and other audio to avoid hearing damage, gradually reducing the volume based on the ambient noise outside the helmet.

The Cardo Freecom 2x features universal connectivity, meaning that the Cardo Freecom 2X will communicate with any other Bluetooth intercom from reputable Bluetooth intercom manufacturers. This mean that regardless of the communication system of your riding partner or pillion passenger, you won’t be left out of the conversation. With IP67 waterproof and dustproof certification, the Cardo Freecom is willing to go wherever you are, regardless of the weather conditions.

There’s nothing worse that realising that you’ve forgotten to charge your communication system before a big ride out. Thanks to the newly developed fast charge system, the Cardo Freecom 2 can be charged while riding meaning that you never need to run out of battery while riding again. If you don’t have access to a power bank or USB charger on your bike, the fast charge feature offers two hours of talk time with just a twenty-minute charge and charge fully over just two hours when needed.

The Cardo Freecom 2x Bluetooth Communication System is fully compatible with the Cardo Connect app, allowing you control over the settings of your Cardo Freecom intercom from your smartphone too. The Cardo Connect app also offers the user over-the-air updates, meaning that you can download and install the latest software directly to your Cardo Freecom intercom without ever needing to connect your intercom to a PC.
