Comfortable, functional and supremely versatile, the new Caberg Flyon II open face helmet is designed with the urban commuter rider in mind but is no less suited to wide open road adventures.
Created in a multi-composite fibreglass outer construction, the Caberg Flyon 2 helmet offers the ideal balance between weight and strength, with a robust outer construction that offers impact and abrasion resistance without significant increases in weight. This open face Caberg helmet is created in two shell sizes, offering the best fit for the rider without any unnecessary padding. Specially designed grooves within the helmet’s interior linings help to effectively channel cool air into the helmet from the twin upper vents at the front of the helmet, maximising the cooling properties of this open face helmet, even when riding in the warmest of climates. New for the ECE 22:06 approved Caberg Flyon 2, this helmet features a small rear spoiler for additional stability when riding at higher speeds. Beneath this rear spoiler are rear extraction vents designed to drawn warm air from within the helmet for more efficient calling.
The clear visor included on the Caberg Flyon 2 helmet is full length, offering the freedom of an open face helmet with added wind and rain protection when riding. The design of the visor helps to effectively channel the wind around the helmet which, with the help of aerodynamic additions to the outer shell of the helmet, make for a quiet helmet with little wind resistance for a smooth ride. The clear visor of the open face helmet is anti-scratch and anti-fog as standard, helping you beat the fight against the fog. A retractable sun visor found within the Caberg Flyon 2 helmet is easily operated via a slider at the left of the helmet and is a blessing when riding in bright sun, not just for comfort and convenience, but for your safety too.
The inner linings within this open face helmet are soft to the touch, comfortable against the skin and make for a pleasant environment for your head to spend the day in, whether you’re commuting to work or tackling a long distance trip. These linings are full removable and washable, allowing you to prolong the fresh helmet feeling. Two Wheel Centre recommends washing the linings by hand and leaving to dry naturally. The inner linings feature a glasses groove for easy fit of your glasses, a welcomed feature for the spectacled riders among us. Additionally, this open face helmet features pockets ready to accommodate the speakers of an intercom system such as the Caberg Pro Speak Bluetooth intercom system or similar Bluetooth intercom systems by reputable intercom manufacturers.
Finally, the Caberg Flyon 2 helmet closes with a micro-ratchet fastening, which is easy to operate, even if you’re wearing thicker gloves in the winter.
