Perfect for your sports touring riding, the Alpinestars SMX-S boots are the latest instalment in the Alpinestars SMX series of boots, with a focus on sports styling and real world street level protection.

The outer construction of these Alpinestars sports boots is a microfibre material. This entails using multiple tightly woven strands of high strength fibres and weaving them into a material which mirrors its leather counterparts, without any of the imperfections that can occur with using a natural material such a leather. The result is a highly abrasion resistant outer construction that can easily withstand the intense abrasion that may be experience in a slide across the road surface.

A wealth of TPU protective shields help to further the protective elements within the SMX S boots. A TPU shin guard helps to cushion impacts felt at the shin, and curves around the side of the calf for further abrasion resistance too. This extends further to a purposefully designed TPU calf brace along with the TPU toe and heel sliders, which help the foot to slide in the event of an accident and limit the grip and twist effect when the microfibre meets the road surface.

Contour comfort panels at the front and rear of these Alpinestars boots promote great movement when riding and using your foot levers, but also enhances the capabilities of a sports touring boot. The boots are supremely comfortable off the bike thanks to these panels, and a welcomed feature with sports touring bikers. Couple this with a padded interior lining with quick drying capabilities and you’ve got a boot that can comfortably cover hundreds of miles in a single day without looking out of place on your sports bike.

The sole of the Alpinestars SMX-S boots features different cuts and shapes in its design to offer great grip, comfort and performance at all times. This sole is created in a compound rubber, absorbing vibration but also providing excellent feedback to the rider in track-based scenarios. This rubberised sole also features a hardened shank within to limit sole twist and unnatural flex at the foot in an accident scenario.

The Alpinestars SMX-S Boots feature a traditional zipped entry with a Velcro wing cover to maximise protection for your bike.
