The Weise Baltimore Trousers are two season, touring / adventure trousers kitted out for gusty, wet riding days with various additions for pleasurable journeys.

The construction of the trousers has built them up for Autumn / Winter weather. The 600 Denier polyester outer layer provides a strong, durable fabric that cloaks the inner weather-resistant layers. When you're riding on damp, blowy days, water and wind can often shock your body temperature and lower it to an uncomfortable, distracting level. The Baltimore Trousers are fitted with a drop lining that prevents just that. The microporous layer has holes too tiny for water and wind to penetrate through, but not tiny enough that moisture can't escape when you become warm underneath. You can release this from the trousers when the weather's your friend.

A layer closer to your skin is the Outlast® layer. This is based on Nasa's temperature regulating technology, it absorbs warmth from your skin when you're too hot and stores it until you're too cold, at which point the warmth is released to warm up your legs. This is a 140g thermal layer in anticipation of harsh Autumn / Winter conditions.

To keep you protected your knees are covered with CE approved armour. This shields you against impact and abrasion in the event of an accident with the option of removing them for washing the trousers or replacing them. The raised back waist also provides further coverage to your lower back which you can strengthen by attaching to a textile jacket using the eight inch zipper attachment - this keeps the jacket from riding up and exposing your skin in an accident.

The smaller details of the trousers are no less important, and some unique. The Weise Baltimore Trousers provide you with the option of adding braces to hold them in a secure position as you go - snatching away the worry they may fall. You can adjust these with the Velcro fastener. This adjustment also applies to the waist where you can find a comfortable fit once the trousers are on - allowing you to loosen or tighten them throughout the day. For improved movement the knees and waist both have stretch panels, this stops you from being restricted as you bend and move. The reflective detail on the trousers increases your visibility to other drivers, subtly included in the design at either hip. Just above this are the two pockets - with horizontal inlets for secure storage - ideal for carrying around small change.
