Retro styling with modern comforts, the Weise Michigan Jacket is a subtle textile jacket with classic styling that suits this textile jacket to a wide variety of motorcycles, from old classics to new naked bikes.

The 600 Denier polyester outer construction of the jacket makes for a lightweight, comfortable textile motorcycle jacket whilst retaining its protective properties by remaining highly abrasion resistant. The outer material is diamond stitched at the shoulders and upper arms with additional detailing at the elbows, furthering the heritage appearance of the jacket. The inclusion of a leather style band at the upper arm helps to break up the black textile outer construction without interrupting the minimalist style of the jacket. Backing up the abrasion resistant outer are CE approved armour pads at the back, elbow and shoulder. This strategically placed motorcycle armour is flexible, unobtrusive and fitted to dedicated pockets to ensure that armour is in the right place when you need it most, effectively dispelling impact energy away from these areas.

Beneath the textile outer of this classic motorcycle jacket lies a waterproof and windproof membrane, limiting the sensation of windchill and maximising your weatherproof, locking out water from entering the jacket and soaking your base layers beneath. This built in waterproof membrane is also breathable, allowing water vapour to escape from within your jacket, leaving you feeling fresh when you reach your destination. You’ll also find a 120-gram quilted thermal liner, offering an additional layer of insulation when riding in cooler weather. This quilted thermal lining can be easily removed and stored in a saddlebag when not needed and quickly reattached when the situation calls for it.

A neoprene trimmed collar provides additional comfort at the neck, a welcomed feature for the long-distance rider. The collar closed with a dual button popper system for a secure closure at the neck. The poppers are brass in colour, perfectly complimenting the brass YKK zippers used to close the jacket and for each of the four external pockets found on the jacket. Within the jacket are three internal pockets too, providing additional storage space for your valuables such as mobile phone, wallet, spare keys and more.

A simple Velcro belt system at the waist allows the wearer to tailor the fitment of the jacket at the waist to suit their body shape, while the adjustable cuff with zipped closure allows for the suitability of a variety of gloves, to fit over either the top of the sleeve or under it. A large zipper found within the jacket allows you to zip the Weise Mission Jacket into any compatible pair of Weise trousers. This not only minimises wind entering in through the rear of the jacket when you’re trying to keep warm but also minimises the risk of the small of your back becoming exposed in the event of a slide across the tarmac.
