The British brand Weise have designed these unique, attractive and high quality pair of performance leather trousers for the sports or touring biker. The features have been designed to ensure the rider is protected, comfortable and enjoys riding their bike whilst wearing them.

The Weise Hydra Leather Waterproof Jeans have been constructed with a durable, tough 1.2mm - 1.4mm Monaco performance leather which is a fully accredited, high performance leather with a smooth surface touch and a tough protective finish. Leather takes time to wear and can sometimes be fairly stiff, this is something Weise have acknowledged when composing the design of these trousers by incorporating stretch panels to the crotch, inner leg and calf so that the jeans remain firmly in place and the rider has flexibility when moving on the bike.

The Weise Hydra Jeans have incorporated an important protective feature into the jeans in the form of CE approved knee armour. The knee armour is in the form of two pieces of impact and abrasion-resistant padding which fit directly into the knee pockets that have been pre-sewn into the inner layer of the trouser and kept securely in place with a Velcro® fastening. This armour has been particularly selected for both performance and comfort as it is ergonomically designed to align to the contours of the knees which after a small amount of use, become barely detectable to the rider. We recommend always wearing the armour as the knee is a highly vulnerable part of the leg in the case of an accident, however, to ensure they remain protective it is best they are removed when washing the trousers.

The front of the trouser has a waterproof, zip-closed thigh vent and an additional perforated vent for added airflow in the summer, which works by allowing cool air underneath the jean to circulate around and draw the warm air away from the skin.

A signature feature of most Weise trousers is the 8 inch 360° zip that is located at the lower back of the trousers, a design that is intended to protect the wearer's lower back from abrasion, and to ensure the rider stays warm and insulated whilst out on a ride. This can be fitted to most Weise jackets as they will have the corresponding zip already incorporated into the jacket design, however, where this isn't present the additional zip material that is sold as part of the trousers can be stitched into the jacket to create the fastening feature.

At the front of the leg, around the top of the thigh, are two concealed external waist pockets with a zipper closure. These have been functionally designed so that rider's can easily gain access to money or credit cards whilst driving, which is particularly useful at toll roads etc. The high-quality YKK® zipper closure ensures your belongings remain safely inside the pocket whilst riding.

A significant final touch that Weise have carefully considered is the delicate, subtle line of 3M™ Scotchlite™ piping that is fitted to the top of the knee, during the day this is inconspicuous and blends into the trouser design, however, at night, it is highly reflective and provides additional night-time visibility.

The lower leg of the jeans has been designed with an ankle zip that has been fitted with a biker's needs in mind. The zip can be undone to easily put rider boots on and take them off.
