Despite the casual design, the Weise Drift Laminated Jacket is a serious piece of waterproof motorcycle clothing. The jacket features a robust 600D outer construction, which is incredibly hardwearing and easily withstands the intense friction that you’d expect to experience in an accident scenario. The jacket has been submitted through independent CE approval testing, a standard which has been reached by the Weise Drift Jacket, which gains double A standard easily.

The laminated nature of the jacket makes this motorcycle jacket incredibly waterproof. By bonding the waterproof breathable membrane to the textile outer construction, the jacket remains incredibly lightweight and comfortable whilst keeping you completely protected from the elements. This waterproof extends to the seams of the jacket, which are tape sealed to lock out any moisture from entering the jacket at this area. You’ll also find additional waterproof protection at the full-length central zipper, designed to prevent any moisture from leaking past the central zipper and dampening your base layers as you ride.

Protective elements within the jacket help to keep you protected in the event of an accident, which help to dissipate impact energy at these key areas. This Weise Laminated Jacket offers a five-piece armour set, with CE approved armour found at the back, shoulders and elbows as standard. These armour pads are fitted to dedicated armour pockets with Velcro closures, making these armour pads removable, should you choose to.

You’ll also find a plush, removable 100g thermal interior lining. This quilted thermal liner is full length and is included to provide an additional layer of insulation at the whole of the body, keeping you warm in the coolest of conditions. This thermal lining is easily removable from within the jacket when the temperatures begin to improve. The hood helps further the casual style, as well as offering wet weather protection for your head when off the bike, which can be adjusted with a pull cord. The hood fastens to the Weise Drift Jacket with a simple zipper, meaning that the hood is removable if this is your preference.

A waterproof coin pocket at the sleeve is perfect for storing your toll road change as well as two exterior pockets and an interior napoleon pocket which are ideal for keeping your essentials safe.
