The outer construction of the Spada Joe jacket is a high strength twill weave textile which is incredibly durable and easily withstands the worst of the friction that is experienced in accident scenarios. Despite the robust material, the Joe Jacket remains lightweight and flexible, providing the same level of comfort as a traditional outdoor sports jacket. This aesthetic is furthered still by the smooth matt finish to this Spada jacket, furthering the casual, fashionable appearance of the Spada Joe Jacket.

Beneath the surface of the Spada Joe Jacket is a full suite of CE Level 2 armour found at the back, shoulders and elbows which helps to reduce the effect of the impact energy at these critical points. These armour pieces are fitted to dedicated armour pockets that feature a Velcro closure, meaning the armour is removable should you choose to. Passive protection comes in the form of subtle reflective detailing, improving your visibility to other road users in wet weather or poor light conditions. With the level of protection on offer, it's little wonder that the Spada Joe Jacket has received CE Level A approval.

A DWR (Durable Water Resistant) outer coating coupled with a polyurethane liquid coating at the interior maximises the waterproof nature of this textile motorcycle jacket by minimising the chance of any water permeating far enough into the jacket to dampen your base layers. This Spada jacket also utilises weatherproof zippers at the chest vents, eliminating any chance of these ventilation openings becoming a weak point in wet weather. The Spada Joe jacket comes with a removable waterproof hood, extending the waterproof protection, even when you've reached your destination.

Thanks to the use of waterproof coatings rather than a traditional waterproof inner lining, the ventilation openings on the Spada Joe Jacket vent directly to the skin for greatly improved cooling. This ventilation continues to to the rear of the jacket, allowing warm air that builds within the jacket to escape efficiently while riding. Air circulates freely within the jacket thanks to the mesh interior linings which separates the skin from the textile for a more enjoyable riding experience, especially in warmer weather.

A short elasticated internal belt attachment offers the rider the chance to attach the Spada Joe jacket to any pair of jeans with a belt loop or the belt itself, minimising the chances of the small of your back becoming exposed to the road surface in the event of a slide across the tarmac. Two large pockets with zipper closures offer the perfect place to store your essentials when on the road such as your phone, wallet and keys.
