The Spada Ascent Jacket ascends further! Now in its third incarnation, the Spada Ascent V3 Jacket offers a beautiful feeling technical textile jacket with a focus on comfort and performance.

The outer material is unlike a traditional polyester material, instead offering a softer brushed textile material but with the same hardwearing nature as their traditional textile counterparts. The outer material is robust, durable and easily withstands the intense abrasion that you may experience in a slide across tarmac. This resilient outer material is furthered with additional ballistic textile material at the back of the arms, providing even greater strength at an area which typically experiences the worst of the intense friction in accident scenarios. For improved strength, key areas of the Spada Ascent V3 Jacket are double stitched to minimise the chances of a failed seam which may leave your skin exposed to the road surface.

Beneath the surface of the jacket lies dedicated armour pockets which house CE approved armour that helps to effectively dissipate the impact energy away from these key areas. You’ll find CE Level 2 armour included as standard at the back, shoulder and elbows, fitted to pockets that ensures that the protective armour within the Ascent V3 jacket remains in the right place when it is needed most. These pockets feature a Velcro closure, which makes the armour removable should you choose to.

Longer in its length than its predecessor, the Spada Ascent V3 Jacket is ideal for touring purposes and everyday commuting alike. In either of these disciplines, there is always the chance that you’ll encounter a shower or two while riding. The Spada Ascent Jacket features a 10k/10k waterproof breathable membrane which is microporous in its construction. This waterproof membrane consists of a copious amount of microscopic holes that are small enough to prevent water entry into the jacket but large enough to allow water vapour (sweat) to escape from within, leaving you fresh and dry when you reach your destination. As an additional level of versatility, this membrane in completely removable from within the jacket in the summer months and quickly reattached with a simple zipper system should the situation call for it.

As an additional layer of insulation within the Ascent V3 Jacket, you’ll find a plush quilted thermal lining, helping to keep your core temperature warm when riding in cooler conditions. This thermal lining is also fully removable, meaning you can strip this layer away and leave a lighter, summer focussed textile motorcycle jacket.

With both layers removed from the jacket, riders are free to make the most of the ventilation openings at the chest and sleeves. These ventilation openings are opened and closed with a simple zipper system, allowing for easy on the go adjustment to your ventilation while riding. You'll also find a long length, horizontal rear exhaust vent at the back of the jacket, allowing warm air to efficiently escape from within the jacket for a complete cooling experience. Additional comforts come in the form of accordion stretch panelling found at the shoulders of the Ascent V3 Jacket, incorporated into this textile motorcycle jacket to maximise the freedom of movement and a useful inclusion for those who plan to tour on their motorcycle.

Thanks to variable adjustment points around the Spada Ascent V3 Jacket, riders can easily tailor the fit and feel of their new Spada textile jacket to suit their body shape. These adjustment points can be found at the upper arm, forearm and waist areas, allowing you to take up the available space with both linings removed, or to add an additional layer underneath in the cooler months of the year.

A soft feel comfort collar helps to maximise your comfort by minimising irritation at a sensitive area, a useful feature whether you’re commuting to work or crossing counties while touring. Additionally, the Spada Ascent Jacket features a collar hook, allowing you to pin the collar out of the way to help channel more air into the jacket from the upper chest when riding in warmer climates.
