Now back with ECE 22:06 approval, the Shoei Glamster 06 is a vintage styled motorcycle helmet with all the modern features and functionality you’d come to expect from a brand new Shoei helmet.

Despite the classic motorcycle helmet appearance, the new Shoei Glamster 06 is constructed in the same AIM fibre construction as many other helmets in the Shoei range, from the GT-Air 3 to the NXR 2. This AIM outer construction is a combination or organic and multi-composite fibres that are woven together to create a super-strong outer shell. Beneath the AIM outer shell lies a multi-density EPS lining, offering superior impact protection and helping to cushion the effects of a high impact situation by reducing the energy that is transferred to your head.

The outer shell of this retro motorcycle is made in three different sizes to ensure that you get the perfect fit for your helmet without the need for an unnecessary padding. Despite the heritage appearance, the Shoei Glamster 06 still fits and feels like a brand new Shoei helmet with a soft, plush interior for prolonged comfort over longer distances. The centre pads, cheek pads and chinstrap cover on the new Shoei Glamster 06 are removable and washable, easily to clean and reattach, keeping the helmet feeling fresher for longer.

Brand new to the Shoei Glamster 06 is the Shoei CPB-1 visor, which is anti-scratch, UV blocking and Pinlock ready to accommodate an anti-mist insert. You'll find a Pinlock Max Vision anti-mist insert included in the box as standard, which helps to limit the fogging of the visor when riding in cooler weather. The Shoei Glamster visor is large with a wide visor aperture for a clear field of view with no interruption to your peripheral vision. At the lower left of the visor opening is a visor lock mechanism, holding the visor securely in place and creating a tight seal against the helmet for a quieter ride.

Furthering the heritage aesthetic, twin ventilation areas on each side of the helmet are mesh covered with grooves help channel cool air into the helmet when riding. Additionally, the upper vent of the Shoei Glamster helmet channels cool air across the crown pad and can be opened or closed to suit the rider. A secure Double D ring closure system offers the rider the most secure fastening for their new helmet as well as keeping with the vintage motorcycle helmet appearance.
