Rather that use Bluetooth for communication purposes, the Sena Spider series intercoms are Mesh Intercom only, meaning that they cannot communicate to Bluetooth only intercoms alone. Mesh technology is the future of motorcycle intercoms, providing a self-healing network between users that allows to easy departing and re-joining of the pack, longer distances between riders and virtually limitless riders thanks to Open Mesh functionality.

The Sena Spider intercoms features Bluetooth 5.2 connectivity for the pairing of Bluetooth ready devices such as smartphones, GPS navigation systems and more. This means that you can easily receive telephone calls, sat-nav instructions and music all through the Sena Spider's high definition speakers for crystal clear communication. Thanks to the inclusion of Sena's Audio Multitasking feature, riders can receive information from multiple audio sources, meaning you can continue your conversation with your riding partner while receiving GPS instructions and more.

The Spider Series intercoms from Sena feature two different intercom modes: Group Mesh Intercom and Multi-Channel Open Mesh Intercom. When using Group Mesh, users create a private group that supports up to 24 riders over a range of up to 5 miles / 8 km (min 6 riders @ 1 mi / 1.6 km intervals). Users are invited into Group Mesh, giving added control and privacy.

Multi-Channel Open Mesh lets you communicate with virtually any number of participants in the Mesh network within a range of up to 5 miles / 8 km. Open Mesh also features multi-channel options, with nine channels available! You can switch between the nine frequencies for conversations with different riding groups within the larger Open Mesh group.

The Spider features an impressive 12 hour talk time, and can be fully charged in 2.5 hours. The Sena Spider is also conveniently compatible with all Sena Mesh-equipped devices, including the Sena Spider ST1, Sena Spider RT1, Sena 50S, Sena 50R, Sena 30K, Sena Momentum EVO, and any Sena Bluetooth device that is connected to the Sena +Mesh Adapter.
