Seamlessly integrated into the helmet, the Sena 10U systems are easy to fit, easy to use and blend perfectly into the helmet. No bulky comms units to add weight to one side or generate wind noise, just a beautifully designed and very functional Bluetooth helmet intercom from one of the best.
Packing everything we’ve come to know and love from Sena intercom units into a concise integrated package, the Sena 10U sits between the linings of your helmet with a battery pack at the neckroll to alleviate the weight and bulkiness of exterior units.
As with many motorcycle intercom systems, the Sena 10U utilises Bluetooth 4.1 connectivity for connecting to Bluetooth compatible devices such as your smartphone. As an additional benefit, the Sena 10U system features Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) when connecting to mobile devices to help prolong the life of your smartphone and your new Sena 10U motorcycle intercom. Of course, the Bluetooth connectivity can also be used to pair with compatible motorcycle intercoms which use Bluetooth as their means of connection, giving you and three other riders the ability to talk to one another with ease over a one-mile range.
The HD Voice feature maximises the audio clarity for clearer, richer sounding audio with little background noise when carrying out telephone conversations. Sena’s Advanced Noise Control feature automatically changes the volume of the audio you are experiencing in line with ambient noise outside of the helmet. This useful feature ensures that you don’t need to turn the music up while riding at speed or turn it down when sat at traffic lights as the Advanced Noise Control feature will take care of this automatically, adjusting the volume as you ride.
There is also the inclusion of an FM radio with the Sena 10U, allowing you to tune in to local radio station when out on your travels to receive local traffic updates, news and more. This Sena comm system has a 10 pre-set station memory, allowing you to save your favourite FM radio stations and choose between them with ease. As an additional level of fun, the Sena 10U features Music Sharing functionality, allowing you and your riding partner to share your music choices and rock out in unison!
As a great deal of the intercom system is located within the helmet, Sena has included their excellent RC4 handlebar-mounted remote control with the Sena 10U system. This innovative handlebar remote puts all the control right by your hands and can easily be used when wearing gloves too, giving you complete control of your new Sena 10U headset.
Many of the features and settings on this Sena intercom unit can be controlled by the Sena App. If trying to memorise button combinations proves difficult, turn to the Sena smartphone app to control your music, GPS instructions, phone calls and more, all with a tap of the app. Of course, voice prompting via the Sena headset will always keep you in the loop with regards to the operations that you are carrying out.
With an operating temperature of between -10°C and 55°C and a talk time of up to 10 hours, the Sena 10U intercom system is ready to tackle the roads in both summer and winter and can easily be charged with the micro USB charge from a flat battery to full battery in just 3 hours.
