Taking the Tractech Evo 3 boot and giving it a trim, the Tractech Evo 3 Short boot packs in all the same great features that we’ve come to love form the RST Tractech Evo 3 boot in a shorter boot. The ankle is cut down particularly at the rear of the motorcycle boots, allowing for a free range of movement when changing gear on the bike and for unrestricted movement when walking around off the bike.

The heel and ankle cockpit is designed for stability of the boot, ensuring that the boot retains its shape. This feature also prevents the hyperextension of the ankle to minimise the risk of injury to the rider in the event of an accident. This boot also features memory elastane for further impact protection along TPU heel protection for additional reassurance. The level of support available in the Tractech Evo 3 boot is improved over its predecessor, making for a boot that you can feel comfortable riding in but also safe should the worst occur.

The size and position of the gear pad vary based on the size of the boot to ensure that the gear pad is always in the correct place and protects your boots from the wear of the gear lever. The sole of this boot has been redesigned for better support and strength, with RST reporting that this boot is 30% stronger and more durable than its predecessor.

The anti-slip multi-density soles makes for a comfortable sole as well as reassurance that mud, oil or other substances underfoot will not send you onto your back. The nylon shank that is sandwiched between the inner sole and outer sole spreads the weight of the foot evenly across the sole, relieving pressure and making for a comfortable boot that can be worn for a wander around when you reach your desired destination.
