The MaxTex outer textile material is highly abrasion resistant, offering complete protection in the event of an accident. This strong textile outer is stitched together with a corespun polyester to maximise the strength at the seams of the S1 Mesh Jacket, improving the overall strength of this mesh textile jacket.

Perhaps the most impressive is the huge amount of K540 mesh panelling, channelling large volumes of direct cool air flow into the jacket while riding. The benefits to the K540 mesh used by RST is that the material helps to flow up to four times more air than other mesh bodied jackets on the market, ensuring that even on the hottest days of the year, the RST S1 Mesh jacket will keep you cool!

Beneath the hardwearing textile outer material lie dedicated armour pockets, designed to house CE approved armour at impact points. CE Level 1 shoulder armour and CE Level 1 elbow armour are included as standard, with a pocket provided to house a CE approved back protector should you wish to upgrade the protective elements. The TPU shoulder cups help to create a lower friction point when sliding and are colour matched to enhance the sporty appearance of the RST S1 Textile Mesh Jacket.

Protection from the elements is important too. In the UK, we know just how quick the weather can change, so even though the RST S1 Mesh Textile Jacket is a ventilated summer-focussed jacket, a full-length waterproof membrane is included too! This SinAqua waterproof membrane offers complete protection from inclement weather and also helps lessen the impacts of wind chill when riding on a cooler morning. The waterproof membrane is easily removed, letting you make the most of the huge ventilation panels and keeping you truly cool even in the warmest of weather. The SinAqua waterproof membrane can be easily rolled up and stored away in a pannier bag, rucksack or underseat storage area and reattached quickly if the weather takes a turn for the worst.

Like all the items in the RST S1 family, the RST S1 Mesh Textile Jacket features the Sport Fit profile, making it a supremely comfortable, road focussed motorcycle jacket. The use of accordion stretch panelling at the shoulder and the backs of the arm at the elbow areas ensure that you aren’t restricted by the textile outer material, offering a complete range of natural movement when riding and when walking around off the bike.

Further comforts come in the form of a neoprene sports collar, helping to maximise comfort by minimising irritation. You’ll also find adjustment belts with Velcro closures, designed to help limit billowing at speed and helping to tailor the fit and feel of the RST S1 Mesh Jacket to suit your body shape.
