The Maxtex outer material makes for a heavy duty, highly abrasion resistant textile motorcycle jacket with a beautiful finish. Any colour panels are achieved via a printing process, rather than additionally stitched colour panels, offering a more robust construction and longer lasting colour to your new RST S-1 Jacket. Designed in the RST Sport Fit profile, this sporty textile jacket features RST’s colour matched TPU shoulder cups as seen on RST’s premium race equipment, furthering the sports nature of the jacket and allowing the jacket to slide in this area should the worst occur. Hidden beneath the surface, the RST S1 Jacket features CE Approved level 1 armour at the shoulders and elbows, with a designated pocket to house a CE Approved back protector should you choose to add one.

Despite the heavy duty nature of the RST S1 Jacket, the jacket is easy to move in thanks to the inclusion of accordion motion stretch panels at the back of the arm and upper back, allowing an unrestricted range of movement and freedom when riding. All that without compromising the CE AA rating – amazing! Outer adjustment points have been included on this RST textile jacket to help tailor the fit and feel of the garment to suit your body shape. Tightening Velcro loop adjustments at waist and upper arm help to reduce billowing when travelling at increased speed, while releasing them will help accommodate any additional layers you may wish to wear when the temperature drops.

Within the jacket lies a fixed SinAqua breathable waterproof membrane. This helpful membrane is unnoticeable when wearing the jacket but helps minimise water entry into the jacket when riding in the worst of the weather, ensuring your base layers remain dry when you reach your destination. You’ll also notice a 75g thermal gilet fitted to the inside of the RST S1 jacket, offering an additional layer of insulation when riding in the colder months. This thermal lining also features two storage pockets for accommodating any essentials that can’t be stored in the twin outer zipped pockets. This thermal lining is easily removed and compact enough to store in a rucksack of side case to be reattached when the situation calls for it.

With the thermal gilet removed, you can maximise your summer riding experience by opening your ventilation points. This RST textile jacket features two intake vents and a large rear exhaust vent, allowing direct cool air flow into the jacket and letting warmer air efficiently exit, keeping you cool as you ride.

Cast your eyes to the bottom the jacket and you’ll find RST’s 360° connection zipper, allowing you to connect your new RST S-1 Textile Jacket to any compatible trouser in RST’s range, whether it’s leather or textile in construction. Subtle Reflex piping on the jacket helps to provide additional visibility when riding after dark without disturbing the sporty aesthetic of the jacket.
