An ideal option for touring riders and commuter riders alike, the HJC i91 helmet is a no fuss flip front motorcycle helmet, with helpful features to make your life on the road easier.

The HJC i91 helmet is created in an Advanced Polycarbonate outer material, offering a protective material at a lower cost than fibreglass or composite materials and allowing HJC to offer the i91 helmet at a lower price. Despite the lower cost of the polycarbonate material, the HJC i91 helmet is still brilliantly strong and safe in an accident scenario, achieving approved certification under the stringent new ECE 22:06 helmet safety standards, giving you peace of mind with your purchase. The comfort and fit is greatly improved over other flip front helmets, thanks to three outer shell sizes that help you achieve a great fit without any unnecessary padding.

This HJC flip front helmet features a clear outer visor as standard, which has been treated with both anti-UV and anti-scratch treatments to help prolong the life of your outer face shield. The I-91 helmet also offers increased peripheral vision, furthering the HJC i91 helmet’s potential as a touring or commuter motorcycle helmet. This visor is quick release for easy detachment from the helmet for cleaning and features pins ready to accept a Pinlock anti-mist insert which is supplied in the box as standard, which when fitted will limit the misting of the visor when riding in cooler temperatures.

A retractable integrated sun visor is included to further your comfort and safety by shielding your eyes from bright sunlight while riding, and is easily deployed with a sliding mechanism at the lower left of the helmet. The position of the sun visor can be adjusted to suit your needs, moving the sun visor forward towards the chin bar of the helmet. This is done via a sliding toggle hidden beneath the left hand recessed cut out and moves the visor from its default position to 5mm further forward or 10mm further forward.

A large upper crown vent as well as a large lower chin vent help to direct cool air flow into the helmet while riding, a welcomed feature for summer bikers and those riding in warmer climates. These ventilation openings can be opened and closed on the go with a simple slider system, allowing you to fine tune your new HJC I-91 flip front helmet to suit your individual needs. The addition of a venturi style extraction vent at the rear of the helmet allows the vacuum effect to draw warm air from within the helmet for a complete cooling experience.

The interior of the helmet features a technical fabric lining, which features an advanced antibacterial treatment and helps to provide enhanced moisture wicking functionality as well as being quick drying too. The interior includes a glasses groove to accommodate riders who wear glasses or sunglasses when riding. This helmet is also intercom ready and features dedicated pockets within the interior liner for your intercom speakers. You’ll also find a glasses groove to accommodate riders who wear glasses or sunglasses when riding, offering greater comfort when travelling over longer distances and shorter commutes.

Finally, this sports touring HJC helmet features a micro-buckle fastening system, which is simple to adjust and easy to operate even when wearing thick winter gloves.
