An adventure style motorcycle helmet with added flip front functionality, the HJC C80 helmet is the perfect adventure touring helmet, with plenty of features to help you on your next big adventure.
The HJC C80 helmet is created in an advanced polycarbonate material, offering a protective material at a lower cost than fibreglass or composite materials and allowing HJC to offer the C80 helmet at a lower price. Despite the lower cost of the polycarbonate material, the HJC C 80 helmet is still brilliantly strong and safe in an accident scenario. The outer shell is created in two sizes, helping provide a more comfortable fit without any unnecessary padding for an optimised riding experience.
The outer shell of this flip front adventure helmet is particularly aerodynamic, with specifically designed ridges to help effectively channel air around the helmet while riding at speed. This makes for a comfortable, quiet helmet when riding over many miles. The aerodynamic profile also extends to the peak of this adventure helmet, which is not only designed to help keep the sun away from your eyes but to help keep the helmet planted when travelling at higher speeds. The peak also features ventilation openings which allow air to be channelled through the peak and across the top of the helmet easily and efficiently. The aerodynamic peak on the C80 helmet is easy to remove, leaving behind an aggressive styled flip front motorcycle helmet.
This HJC flip front helmet features an optically superior clear outer visor as standard, which has been treated with both anti-UV and anti-scratch treatments to help prolong the life of your outer face shield. The C-80 helmet also features the Vision Plus design to offer increased peripheral vision, furthering the HJC C80 helmet’s potential as a touring or commuter motorcycle helmet. This visor is easy to remove from the helmet for cleaning and features pins ready to accept a Pinlock anti-mist insert which is supplied in the box as standard.
The same anti-scratch treatment has also been applied to the retractable interior sun visor, designed to enhance your riding experience by helping to eliminate sun glare when riding, as well as improving your safety in the process.
The Advanced Channelling System ventilation is a blessing in warmer weather, helping to channel huge amounts of air flow through the helmet with ease. The upper chimney vent and large capacity chin vent on the HJC C-80 welcomes volumes of cool air into the helmet which is effectively channelled through specifically designed ridges in the EPS foam liner, cooling your head as you ride. The warmer, stale air is able to escape from within the helmet thanks to small rear extraction vents for a complete cooling experience.
The interior of the helmet features a SuperCool fabric lining, which features an advanced antibacterial treatment and helps to provide enhanced moisture wicking functionality as well as being quick drying too. The crown and cheek pads are removable and washable to help you prolong the fresh helmet feeling and includes a glasses groove to accommodate riders who wear glasses or sunglasses when riding. This helmet is also intercom ready and features dedicated pockets within the interior liner for your intercom speakers. Whilst the helmet is optimised for HJC smart intercoms, the HJC C-80 helmet can easily accommodate a wide variety of universal motorcycle Bluetooth intercoms.
Finally, this flip front adventure helmet features a micro-buckle fastening system, which is simple to adjust and easy to operate even when wearing thick winter gloves.
