The Freeride offers a high level of protection for an open face lid, with a complete fibreglass outer shell construction delivering a lightweight helmet with improved impact protection and energy absorption as its polycarbonate counterparts. For your peace of mind, the Caberg Freeride X is certified to ECE 22:06 standard, easily meeting the stringent testing standards for motorcycle helmets. This fibreglass outer shell is created in three sizes, making for an even better fit by limiting the amount of padding taken to fill the helmet at smaller sizes.

You can wear this versatile helmet however you want to, depending on your personal riding style. You might like to wear the Caberg Freeride X as a pure open face helmet, or you may choose to team the Freeride up with a pair of vintage inspired goggles to complete the look and to improve your protection. A goggle strap is attached to the rear of the helmet for holding them securely in place. Caberg have also supplied a clear, long visor as standard with your purchase, which is easy to fit and provide face coverage in wet weather or from the dust, dirt and bugs that you may encounter while riding.

Even though an open face helmet with natural ventilation, comfort is still important inside the shell. A sanitised lining helps keep the Caberg Freeride X fresher for longer by inhibiting bacteria. If the interior does become dirty or stale, you can remove and gently wash the pads to refresh the helmet. Two Wheel Centre recommends hand soaking in warm water and natural drying of your interior liners, so as not to shrink or distort the interior linings or their associated fixings. The fastening system on the Caberg Freeride X is simple, yet effective. When you first set the main strap to your desired fit, it will remain in place every time you wear it. Pull the red release material and the fastener snaps open.

The Caberg Freeride X features preparations to accept the new Caberg Pro Speak Evo intercom system, with dedicated speaker recesses and cable routing passages for easy installation. Of course, these recesses can also be used for the fitment of any reputable universal Bluetooth intercom kit if you choose to.
