Using their best-selling flip front helmet as a starting point, Caberg have taken their most popular helmet and redefined the Duke into the Duke Evo. With the same levels of comfort and build quality that you know and love from Caberg and with a host of additional improvements, the Caberg Duke Evo is a worthy successor to the Caberg Duke crown.

A high impact resistant thermoplastic outer shell will feel familiar to fans of the Caberg Duke, and offers a hardwearing outer shell that can withstand a variety of impact scenarios. Beneath the surface of the new Duke Evo lies an EPS membrane, incorporated to help absorb impact energy before it can be transferred to your head within.

Like its predecessor, the Caberg Duke Evo is dual homologated for us in both a closed and open position while riding. In order to conform to the legal side of helmet wearing, a flip front helmet must feature a locking mechanism, which can be found of the upper left-hand side of the helmet behind the visor plates. With this lock engaged, the helmet is safely secured in its open position, with no chances that the helmet can drop down unexpectedly.

As with the original Caberg Duke, the Duke Evo features a large clear visor as standard which features a great range of vertical vision and allows the rider to easily view their instrument panel without moving their head. This visor features an anti-scratch coating to help prolong the life of the visor, as well as Pinlock pins that are ready to accept the official Pinlock anti-mist insert that is included with your purchase. Additionally, the Caberg Duke Evo features a retractable sun visor with a familiar mohawk slider setup, allowing you shield your eyes from the sun in an instant.

Ventilation is important in any motorcycle helmet and for the latest incarnation of the Caberg Duke, the Caberg Duke Evo features upgraded ventilation openings to help channel more air into the helmet than ever before. Two large chin ventilation openings and twin crown vent can be operated with their associated switches, allowing the rider to tailor the level of airflow into the helmet. The chin vent helps to bring cool air into the helmet at the face, helping to keep your face cool on warm sunny days and also help limit the effects of visor misting in the winter. The upper vent helps to channel air into the helmet to keep the top of your head cool, minimising the uncomfortable sweating that can occur in warmer weather.

Enhancing the touring capabilities of the Caberg Duke Evo, you’ll find provision for the inclusion of intercom system if you should choose to add one, with dedicated speaker recesses within the helmet to accommodate your intercom speakers. The Caberg Duke Evo helmet features a sanitised, moisture-wicking interior lining which helps to keep your head feeling fresh and dry when you reach your destination by absorbing the sweat and spreading it over a wider area for a faster rate of evaporation. These interior linings can be easily removed and are machine washable, allowing you to prolong the fresh helmet feeling with the new Caberg Duke Evo.

Finally, the Caberg Duke Evo closes with a simple micro ratchet buckle system that is easy to operate, even if you’re wearing thicker winter gloves.
