Designed with touring bikers in mind, the Alpinestars Radon builds upon Alpinestars impressive knowledge of sports touring and dual sport touring biking to offer the best boots possible for your next adventure.

The outer construction of these Alpinestars touring boots is a microfibre material. This entails using multiple tightly woven strands of high strength fibres and weaving them into a material which mirrors its leather counterparts, without any of the imperfections that can occur with using a natural material such a leather. The result is a highly abrasion resistant outer construction that can easily withstand the intense abrasion that may be experience in a slide across the road surface.

A host of TPU protection helps to keep your feet, ankles and shins safe should you take a tumble across the tarmac. A large TPU shin plate that curves around the calf helps to cushion impacts at this key area, while also offering abrasion resistance should this area be subjected to intense friction in a slide. A reinforced toe box and heel cup help to maximise the strength of the boots at these key areas, keeping your feet safe within.

The inclusion of dual density protection at the ankles, which is coupled with soft padding, helps to soak up the impacts that are felt at these areas, decreasing the risk of injury and your recovery time after an unfortunate spill. Passive protection comes in the form of reflective insert panels at the rear of the boot, increasing the rider’s visibility when travelling after dark, in low visibility conditions or riding in wet weather.

Alpinestars have utilised their primary waterproofing technology in these boots. The Drystar membrane is microporous and features a vast amount of very small holes, small enough that water droplets cannot permeate through but large enough to allow water vapour (sweat) to escape from within the boots. Regardless of where the road takes you, you'll be safe from the worst of the weather and feeling fresh at the feet when you arrive.

The Alpinestars Radon Drystar boots feature a durable vulcanised rubber sole with gripper panels at the front and rear of the sole, ideal for increased grip when walking around at your chosen destination. Within the boots lies a removable EVA footbed, with arch support for increased comfort when riding over longer distances.

A series of Velcro strap and panels help to keep the Radon Boots fastened securely when riding, and makes getting in and out of your new Alpinestars touring boots a breeze.
