Perfect for track and road riding, the Alpinestars GP Plus R V2 gloves offer a great level of protection with dual layer reinforcement and aramid fibre reinforcements. Despite this, the GP Plus R gloves are remarkably comfortable for your everyday street riding and give you additional confidence and peace of mind.

The multi-layer leather outer construction maximises the strength of the glove, with dual layer leather found at key impact areas. These additional layers are found at the palm of the hand and span the length of the little finger too, areas which typically suffer heavily in accident scenarios. These multi-layer leather panels feature externally for improved comfort when riding, both on track and on the road.

The abrasion resistance is furthered still with the use of aramid fibre reinforcements at the side of the hand, fourth finger and thumb. The inclusion of aramid fibre at these areas offer extra strength at these key areas which contributing any additional weight for an optimised riding experience.

Keeping your hands safe from impacts is equally important. These leather Alpinestars gloves feature an ergonomically shaped high density knuckle protector at the back of the hand, specially moulded to offer maximum protection. Sliding protection is important too. To this end, these Alpinestars GP Plus R V2 gloves feature a scaphoid palm slider made of a high density TPU to keep your hands moving should they meet the road surface, rather than a grip and twist motion which can transfer the weight of your body to your wrist.

The addition of a fourth finger bridge is essential in a motorcycle racing and track day glove, ensuring that a slide at the side of the hand doesn’t result in damage to the little finger due to unnatural movement if it grips the road surface.

For your comfort, the Alpinestars GP Plus R gloves feature accordion stretch panelling at the index, middle and ring finger for greater comfort when using the control levers. The fingers of these Alpinestars gloves are also pre-curved, helping to reduce the fatigue felt at the hand when travelling over longer distance or with more intense riding such as on a track day session. Perforated areas throughout the glove help to channel cool air into the glove, while allowing warmer air to efficiently exit, cooling your hands as you ride. A welcomed feature for summer riders.

A Velcro cuff and Velcro wrist closure offers two fastening points, ensuring that the glove and all the protective elements that are incorporated into the glove remain in the right place when they are needed most.
