Ideal for your touring riding needs, the Alpinestars Andes V2 Drystar Boots are a versatile, comfortable touring and street riding boot, ideal for your long distance adventures and your commute to work.

The leather construction of these touring boots is incredibly hardwearing, protection your feet from the intense abrasion that you may experience in a slide across tarmac. The leather panels that comprise the Alpinestars Andes V2 boots are dual stitched, offering even greater protection from abrasion, maximising the strength of the boot by minimising the risk of a blowout occurring at the seams.

Behind the leather outer construction lie multiple protective elements to help keep your feet, ankles and shins protected should the worst occur. An interior TPU shin plate with additional impact protection padding helps to shield your shins from impact energy that may be transferred to this area. Similar impact protection inserts can be found at the ankles, in the form of TPU discs around the ankle bones with additional impact protection padding.

A hardened toe box and heel cup help to limit energy transfer to these sensitive and important areas, speeding up your recovery times after an accident, by limiting the damage done. Passive protection comes in the form of reflective insert panels at the rear of the boot, increasing the rider’s visibility when travelling after dark, in low visibility conditions or riding in wet weather.

Alpinestars have utilised their primary waterproofing technology in these boots. The Drystar membrane is microporous and features a vast amount of very small holes, small enough that water droplets cannot permeate through but large enough to allow water vapour (sweat) to escape from within the boots. Regardless of where the road takes you, you'll be safe from the worst of the weather and feeling fresh at the feet when you arrive.

Despite being heavily protective, the Alpinestars Andes V2 boots feature contour stretch panels at the front and back of the boot, furthering your comfort. These panels work well when changing gear and using the rear foot brake whilst also enhancing your comfort when walking around off the bike when you arrive at your destination.

The Alpinestars Andes V2 Drystar boots feature a durable vulcanised rubber sole with gripper panels at the front and rear of the sole, ideal for increased grip when walking around at your chosen destination. Within the boots lies a removable EVA footbed, with arch support for increased comfort when riding over longer distances.

The Andes V2 Boots feature a traditional zipper opening with a Velcro wing cover to protect your bike from scratches. The zipper features a Velcro tab, which fixes easily to the Velcro wing to help keep the zipper in a closed position for additional security.
