AGV helmets introduce the new AGV K6-S, offering versatility, comfort and performance for riders of all styles of motorcycle, from large cruisers to sports bikes. Created in a Carbon and Kevlar outer construction, the AGV K6 S helmet offers an aerodynamic profile and lightweight construction at just 1.255kg in the smallest shell size, making it ideal for sports riders and touring riders alike.

To offer the best in protection and fit, AGV helmets use a five density EPS liner within the new AGV K6-S helmet, absorbing impact energy efficiently and effectively dissipating this energy, limiting damage to the rider should the worst occur. The AGV K6-S helmet features four different shell sizes, ensuring that your new AGV K6 helmet is the best fit for you without any excess disturbing your riding experience.

With an 85° vertical field of view and a 190° horizontal field of view, and with a PinLock Max Vision insert included in the box as standard, the AGV K6-S makes riding even easier, with nothing to interrupt your vision. To put it into perspective, the field of view found in the new AGV K6-S is the same as that of the AGV Pista GP-RR, AGV’s premium race helmet. Optically correct to Class 1 and anti-scratch, the new GT4 visor found on the K6-S features a small visor mechanism meaning that the areas for the base plates are smaller, offering less interference when travelling at speed, less noise when riding and makes the visor easier to change too. The visor locks in place similar to that found in AGV’s premium sports and track day helmets with the AGV visor lock system which will open with a small push button and seal securely without opening unnecessarily should the worst occur.

AGV helmets have designed the interior of the K6-S helmet to be supportive for riding in tucked positions at speed while offering the same all-day comfort you’d expect from a touring motorcycle helmet. Inside the helmet you’ll find a glasses groove to accommodate the spectacled rider, a big increase in comfort when riding over long distances whether wearing regular glasses for vision, or riding in sunglasses in the summer.

The crown pad is constructed of a Shalimar fabric, offering a soft, plush environment for the rider’s head and the perfect place to spend the day, whether you’re tackling twisties or munching motorway miles. The cheek pads use a combination of Ritmo and Shamilar fabric, to provide the best fit possible and offer increased stability when riding at higher speeds. The same Ritmo material can be found at the neck, along with a synthetic leather material and reflective elements, offering higher abrasion resistance, visibility and water resistance. These interior elements all feature a sanitized, antibacterial treatment with 2Dry treatment for superior moisture wicking and Microsense for the prolonged premium feel of your new AGV helmet. The linings of the AGV K6 S are fully removable and washable too, letting you keep the helmet fresher for longer.

The neckroll area features a particularly snug fit, designed to secure well at the neck in order to provide support whilst eliminating unnecessary wind noise from entering into the helmet. Small red tabs can be found at the lower of the cheek pads on the K6-S helmet; these are emergency quick release tabs and are designed to quickly and efficiently remove the cheek pads in an accident scenario. By removing the cheek pads, paramedics and other emergency services can gain access to your head much easier and therefore limit the damage done to your head, neck and spine.

Ventilation is important in any helmet and the AGV K6-S is no exception, with three upper vents, two lower vents and a rear exhaust vent built into the integrated rear spoiler. The front vents can be opened and closed easily, even when wearing thicker winter gloves while the rear vent is open permanently by design. Recesses found at the interior of the AGV K6-S are designed to accept intercom systems, in particular the new AGV ARK intercom. Developed by AGV with intercom giants Sena, the ARK system fits into a base plate specifically designed for the K6 and is easily fitted into the helmet, letting you keep in touch with friends and loved ones even when on the go. Finally, the AGV K6-S fastens with a tried and tested Double-D ring closure system, offering the most secure fastening possible.
