This dual sport helmet from AGV is created in a lightweight but durable carbon fibre, aramid and fibreglass tricomposite construction. The carbon fibre elements of the construction makes the AGV AX9 much lighter than traditional thermoplastic helmet constructions, limiting the weight of the helmet and limiting muscular fatigue at the neck when riding over longer distances. The aramid fibre and fibreglass elements in turn offer incredible abrasion resistance, increased strength and greater impact absorption, ensuring your head is truly safe within the AGV AX9. The helmet is created in three different shell sizes, allowing you to fit the best fit for your new helmet. The benefit to different shell sizes is that you can find the ideal fit for your helmet without any unnecessary padding. The helmet features a multi-density EPS layer within the helmet, effectively dissipating impact energy away from your head in the event of an accident.

The Integrated Ventilation System on the AGV AX9 helmet is designed to keep you cool and comfortable on the longest rides. With three large front vents and two rear exhaust vents, all of which can be opened and closed easily and efficiently, your head will stay cool and fresh, leaving you to concentrate on the demanding roads ahead. The party trick of the AGV AX9 helmet is the removable chin vent of the helmet. This vent can be easily removed without the use of tools, allowing for even greater ventilation into the helmet and adding to the off-road aesthetic of this dual sport helmet.

The visor of the AGV AX9 adventure helmet is panoramic, offering complete visual clarity when out on the road. The 190° horizontal vision and 110° vertical vision of the visor allows for complete, uninterrupted vision and offering you a greater view of the road, both ahead and in your peripheral vision. The visor includes a Pinlock Max Vision insert, reducing the misting and internal condensation when riding in cooler conditions. The visor also features a micro-opening system, allowing for a greater air flow into the helmet and across the visor, ideal for keeping cool when riding in warmer weather. The visor, like the peak of this adventure helmet is completely removable. This offers four distinctive looks to the helmet; with visor and peak, with visor, with peak and without visor and peak. This customizability of this dual sport helmet adds to the versatility of the helmet and lets you tailor your AGV AX9 helmet to suit the riding you are about to undertake.

The interior linings of the helmet, including cheek pads and neck roll are all easily removable and washable, making it easy to remove the dust, dirt and grime that can keep into the helmet when riding off road. The neck roll of this adventure helmet is created in a Shalimar fabric and synthetic leather with a water-resistant treatment to prevent water from being absorbed into the helmet. The cheek pads and crown pad are created from Ritmo and Shamilar fabric respectively. The crown pad and cheek pads feature a series of treatments to make the helmet more comfortable and sanitary for long and demanding rides. The interior of the helmet features a sanitized treatment which protects against bacteria lurking in the helmet. In addition to this treatment, Dryspeed further aids in both moisture wicking potential and premium skin comfort when wearing the helmet. The interior of the helmet features a glasses groove, making wearing the helmet easier and more comfortable for spectacle wearing adventure and off-road bikers.
