The RST Pro Series Paragon 5 Textile Jacket is a revamp of the Paragon 4, the fifth version of this four-season touring jacket is bursting with features for an adventure in any weather. Building upon this already successful range, RST have returned with a new CE approved Paragon 5 jacket ready for the up and coming regulation changes that deem motorcycle clothing to the PPE (Personal Protective Equipment). These jackets are CE approved, giving you the peace of mind that you are wearing the best equipment for the road.

The Paragon has a tough outer, built to last through warm, cold and tough conditions. A blend of Max Tex, ballistic and HT Tex creates a tear and abrasion resistant outer for long-lasting use. These materials are bonded together with a strong heavy duty, nylon thread in double and triple stitched seams offering burst and further abrasion resistance.

The tri-material outer has three inner liners. The first offering inner comfort, is the fixed mesh lining. This material is dotted with tiny holes promoting air circulation to prevent the jacket from clinging as you become warm on a ride. The second is a Sinaqua waterproof layer so you can ride in downpours and remain dry, keeping you focused on the road. The third is quilted and thermal to keep you warm and insulated when temperatures are low, with the option of removing this when they climb higher. Once this is removed you can make use of the front and rear air vents, for further relief. Once unzipped they allow cool air inside the jacket which will circulate through and draw warmth from your skin. This stale air then releases through the rear exhaust vents of the jacket.

The jacket has CE approved armour fitted at the shoulders, elbows and back. The shoulder and elbow shields are 'contour plus,' overtime they'll mould to the shape of your body providing targeted protection. The back armour meets the CE level 2 standard and offers a higher level of protection. For lower back coverage you can attach the jacket to any RST trousers using the 360® zip, this will keep the jacket from riding up and exposing your skin to the road in an accident.

The finer details of the Paragon add to its idiosyncratic style. The neck has a removable 'throat coat' which provides a shield against the harsh effects of wind chill, this covers the neoprene neck collar - included for comfort. The adjustable waist, inner arms and side gussets allow you to find a comfortable fit. The jacket also provides bundles of storage with the four large outer pockets, one specifically for maps, an easy-access inner napoleon pocket alongside four more tucked away inside.

Whether you're riding in daylight or through a dark night the jacket improves your visibility to other riders with the reflective strips.
