The rising cost of fuel and public transport, let alone the environmental cost of fuel-powered vehicles, make it increasingly difficult to use these travel options. Add to the issues of overcrowding and late-running buses, trains and trams; and more over potential parking fines and congestion

With X-byke, you can freely travel around in a seriously cost effective way. Research shoes that on average, it costs only 1.5pence per mile to travel.

Moreover, X-byke qualifies for the government's 'Cycle-to-Work' schemes, meaning that you will be allowed to purchase the bike and offset the cost against your income tax, making a saving of between 20-50% dependant on you tax code.

How long does it take to charge?

Approximately 5 hours, and with our new compact 'pocket charger', re-charging on the move is really easy.

How far can I travel?

Typically the X-byke will cover 10-15 miles on a single charge - further if you are pedalling too of course! Alternatively a second battery can be fitted to double the range.

Who is it designed for?

Everyone! X-byke is legally a bicycle and as long as you are over 14 years old you can ride it on the road without a driving licence, tax or insurance.

Is it easy to service?

The bike shares the common electrical components including batteries, control systems and motor drives, making them easy to service and with fully trained technicians on-site and many spare parts in stock or available next day, we can carry out any servicing or repairs for you.

Is there a warranty?

X-byke comes with a comprehensive warranty on all parts including a 5 year warranty on the frame and 1 year on the Lithium-Ion battery, motor drive and the electrics. As you would expect, the obvious parts subject to wear and tear such as tyres and brake blocks are not covered. 

The X-byke is available with 6 Shimano gears or 24 Shimano gears, with the 6 speed model also available with a step-through-frame designed especially for the lady rider.
