Our Trusted Staff

Here at Two Wheel Centre, we're more than just voices on the end of the phone line - we're real people with a passion!

We know how important it is for you to trust the person you are speaking to, so we would like to proudly introduce you to the Two Wheel Centre staff.

You're in good hands.

Peter Scott - The Boss

Pete is the founder of Two Wheel Centre. Having had a passion for bikes since he was a whippersnapper, Pete has relentlessly ploughed his time and effort into the business for over two decades. You can read more about how Pete has helped the business grow on the Our History page. Pete has raced successfully on a CBR1000RR and more recently a GSXR1000 and is convinced one day he will give Rossi a run for his money!

Steve Scott - Workshop Manager

Steve is Pete's younger brother and Workshop Manager at Two Wheel Centre. Steve has helped build the business from day one, officially working for Pete since 1990. He has only ever worked on bikes, and knows no other profession. He's painted, valeted, serviced, re-built, and conducted MOTs and PDIs. He is a fully trained alarm installation technician, and MOT quality controller for the business. His workshop bench is reported to be "like an operating table". Steve's claim to fame is that he was crowned 1996 Official NGK National Spark Plug Changing Champion at the NEC Motorcycle Show, taking 4 plugs out and putting 4 back in in just 38 seconds. He has also been dubbed the real motorcycle 'Rain Man' by our customers - a real expert in his field.

Rebecca Scott - Company Secretary

Rebecca is Pete's eldest daughter, and was roped into the business a wholesome 10 years ago. In fact, Rebecca remembers the day when the business only had one computer, and she was the official 'pen pusher' in a business where all the records were hand written. Rebecca is the lady we have to thank for bringing technology to Two Wheel Centre - we now have more computers than PC World! But don't be deceived - Bec's straight laced front is just a cover of her wilder side. She has taken part in Silverstone Rally School's 'Lady Quest' and Ron Haslam Race Days (albeit crashing out). She previously owned a Virgin R6 and her favourite route is down The Old A1.

Jessica Scott - Internet Sales

Although Pete's middle daughter, Jessica, claims to be a "dog's body", we like to think of her as a jack of all trades throughout the business. She has worked here for 5 years now, and is widely considered to be the girl to speak to if you need to find something on the web. As well as developing our website, assisting the stores department and covering the sales desk on occassions, Jessica is a qualified Shoei helmet technician and considers Givi luggage to be her product speciality. Jessica's first bike was a 1999 YZF-R6, and more recently a 2005 GSXR750.

Abi Scott - Internet Sales

Abi is Pete's youngest daughter and has worked in the business since she was 16 - albeit cleaning the helmets originally! However, she is now a valuable member of the team and is a self-confessed in-house 'internet and web development geek'. Although Abi has passed her full motorcycle test, she doesn't own a big bike and prefers to scoot around where appropriate. She is a fan of Moto GP and has high hopes for Ben Spies in 2010 - though we think she has an ulterior motive for that! Abi's product specialities are wide ranging, from Hit Air airbag clothing and Gerbing's heated clothing to bike accessories and parts.

Mark Roberts - Stores Manager

Mark is our Stores Manager and has worked with us since October 2003. He has quite the collection of bikes, ranging from a YZF-R1 to a rare 1998 Aprilia RS250 and a CR125. He has fantastic knowledge of anything to do with motorcycling, and is the man to speak to for your parts. He is a confessed Shoei fan, with a particular penchant for the Diabolic range. More recently, Mark's best friend has scaled the world on a 110cc Postie scooter, riding it back to the UK from Australia over 8 months. Will Mark join him on his next adventure? We certainly hope not!

Diane Burton - Sales Admin

Diane is another jack of all trades in the business. She can often be seen darting from one department to the next with a list of jobs she needs to get done. Her main role, however, is supporting the showroom staff who benefit from an extra helping hand. Diane has previously been spotted riding a variety of bikes - everything from a CB250 to a Yamaha YZF-R6.

Kathryn Woods - Sales Admin

Kath has worked with us for six and a half years, and has known Rebecca since they were just 5 years old. Although Kath is considered Pete's right hand man, Kath was not always so valued. She says "When I first started here I was quite young and I dont think Pete realised my potential, so he gave me menial tasks like weeding the car park!" Well, Pete never looked back. Completely efficient, Kath is a friendly face of the workshop and a pillar of the business. She takes bookings for repairs and services and is in charge of all our warranties. Kath is also in Sales Admin, and probably the first face you see when you walk through the front doors at Two Wheel Centre.

Terry Udall - Workshop Technician

Terry is a fully trained motorcycle technician with over 30 years experience in the profession. He has worked with us for over 8 years, repairing, servicing, installing alarms, and conducting MOTs and PDIs. But don't be fooled by his tough front - he has a secret love for the Honda C90. And apparently he's excellent with the microwave at dinnertime.

Aimee Haynes - Internet Sales

Aimee is the newest member of staff in the Internet department having only been here since early 2009, but she is utterly wonderful. She bends over backwards to keep things running smoothly in the Internet department and works like lightning to keep our customers happy. If you call the Internet department, it's usually Aimee who cheerly answers the phone and chirps 'Hello, Two Wheel Centre!'. Aimee's product speciality is motorcycle clothing.
