Suzuki Tease New Model at Intermot 2018
Yesterday, Suzuki added a video to their YouTube channel that teases a new model that will be joining the 2019 range of Suzuki motorcycles. You can check out the video for yourself on the Suzuki Way Of Life YouTube channel.
Starting in complete darkness followed by floating embers and an old school molten metal beating, the video shows a blacksmith working on a pointed piece of metal. Closing out the video with a Japanese symbol, a sword swipe across the screen and the words “Feel the Edge”…
Subtle hints of what is to come but I feel they’re a little on the nose. If I were a betting man, my money would be on an updated Suzuki Katana! Although the rumour mill has been circulating like mad in recent months. Whisperings of a supercharged Hayabusa and a revamped GSX-R750 in the works for a pre-2020 release are getting louder and louder.
I feel like a kid at Christmas. Like there’s a big box in the living room that I’m not allowed to look inside but I have a vague idea of what the contents are. What do you think to the teaser video? What do you reckon is inside the Suzuki box at Intermot? Let us know your thoughts!

As Intermot 2018 draws ever closer, Suzuki give us a first proper glimpse of the bike they’re going to be unveiling! Well… I say “bike”… we get to see the tank of the new bike. But it’s a start! With more sword flashing, it’s looking more and more like a new Katana announcement! What do you reckon? Should Suzuki update the Katana or should it be left as a classic? Let us know!
