Knox Hand Armour: Introducing the Knox Gloves range

The whole range of Knox Gloves is now on our website!

British company Knox are well known for their protective armour, with everything from knee sliders to armoured vests keeping us all safe on the road. But did you know that Knox do armour for your hands as well? Here’s your ‘handy’ guide to Knox gloves, now available to buy on our website or in store.

Summer and sports gloves

Knox Gloves Handroid Race GlovesLet’s start with the serious track protection. There’s a reason Knox call their range of gloves ‘Hand Armour’ and that’s because they use patented protection to protect you from a date with the tarmac.

The most advanced, robotic-looking gloves in the range are the appropriately-named Handroid Gloves (pictured), which are fully geared up with some unique armour – flexible finger spines being one example. If you’re a track day demon or a professional racer, these are the gloves for you.

If you’re not quite sure you need a bionic hand (but you would like good protection) check out the slightly less high-tech Nexos Gloves. These have a more comfortable price tag and will still serve you well on the road or the track.

For everyday summer riding, the Knox Orsa Leather gloves give you more than enough protection, as well as being cool and comfortable. They share some tech with their higher-spec siblings too, including a patented scaphoid protection system.

Winter and waterproof gloves

Knox Gloves Zero 2 Winter GlovesKnox gloves aren’t all aimed at the sports rider. They also offer a range of competitive waterproof options for your spring / summer adventures – and for cold, rainy commutes to work in December.

Speaking of summer adventures, have you got your touring gloves sorted yet? If not, you might want to consider the Knox Covert gloves, a full-length waterproof glove made of quality 1mm leather and equipped with a waterproof / windproof OutDry® membrane.

The Knox Zero 2 gloves (pictured) are clearly designed for Arctic residents, with not one but two layers of insulation. They also boast OutDry® waterproofing and a water-diverting ‘H20 Blade’ system.

If your budget doesn’t stretch that far, the Knox Techstyle gloves are also a great choice for winter, with Thinsulate insulation and a British-made waterproof membrane.

Off road / MX gloves

Knox have one option for the off road enthusiast, but it’s a great one. The well-equipped Knox Orsa MX gloves are perforated for summer, flexible and well-fitting. With impressive attention to detail, these gloves are well worth a look for serious MX or Enduro riders.

Classic / retro gloves

Knox Gloves Hadleigh Ladies GlovesIf you like a bit of classic style, or simply need a glove that won’t let you down on the way to work, the Knox Hanbury gloves are ideal. They’re simple and smart, with a bit of ‘retro’ appeal and the added bonus of scaphoid protection.

If you’re wondering what there is for the ladies, Knox have provided for women riders with the Knox Hadleigh gloves (pictured), the counterpart to the Hanbury style.

As the only ladies offering, Knox have enhanced these gloves with some weather protection in the form of an OutDry® membrane. This transforms them into a 3 season glove, with a good balance of comfort and protection.
