The guards are secured and held in place via 3 multi adjustable elastic straps. The protectors are contoured to fit comfortably over the knee and upper shin and the top section is flexible, so that comfort is maintained even when standing. This unique 3 strap system actually hugs the protector into the knee. Comfortable and secure!
