The 8 plate 'race Aegis' offers extra coccyx protection - perfect for those who do track days or race or their motorcycle. The extra coccyx protection can be uncomfortable to upright riding, and is therefore suited to the 'foward' riding position of a motorcycle racer.

The Aegis back protectors are the outcome of an intensive 12 month makeover, and represents a whole new approach to back protection that carefully addresses the needs of todays rider.

The Aegis is a whooping 30% lighter in weight, is a more refined shape and is thinner than the previous Knox Ricochet.

The Adult Aegis Back Protector is available in a large range of sizes, 5 plate, 6 plate, 7 plate, 8 plate, 8 plate race and 9 plate.

A re-developed system of flex channels allows the protector to sculpt around the back, making it more comfortable to wear under tight leathers or textiles

The new Aegis is completely breathable with a superior air venting system for maximum aif flow efficiency, keeping the rider cool

The spine section articulates freely, moving smoothly with the rider at the same time as ensuring maximum protection is maintained in all positions

Precision fitting is achieved through the multi position waist strap. This ensures the rider can fix the protector in the correct position. This will prevent the back protector from riding up during use.

The straps now adjust automatically through an integral shoulder strap slider system, ensuring automatic correct positioning during use. This ensures a comfortable fit at all times

Added performance is achieved through a fully adjustable and removeable kidney section made in soft PU, further protecting this sensitive area

Independantly tested, the Aegis conforms to EN1621-2 Level 2, this is the highest rating possible under current EU testing regulations, giving the wearer complete confidence!

Designed so that the spine section can be customised to create a personal look for the wearer
