Thinking of buying your Taylormade from the USA? This is not necessarily the best idea. You might want to read this beforehand.

Taylormade are the experts where combining race proven engineering with high design is concerned. Their exhausts are quite unlike anything else that you can buy, making them unique in many aspects.

The Taylormade Exhausts for the GSXR1000 K7/K8 kit will blow you away with both looks and performance.

The underbelly muffler is dedicated to maximising volume in the limited space available under the engine. Similar to the 600/750 Race kit, the K7 underbelly has a fantastic sound that will attract attention without going overboard.

The Taylormade 07/08 GSXR1000 kit is a slip on that eliminates the stock box and mufflers saving 20 lbs. That's better than any diet.

The kit comes with right and left side carbon fibre trim to blend the stock fairing into that aerodynamic MotoGP style. Taylormade's carbon trims are real carbon fibre, not fibreglass or plastic. All trim pieces are solid carbon with a natural lightweight race finish. Pieces will not discolor if left natural but customers building show bikes can paint or clearcoat pieces for a custom finish.

On the dyno you can expect a horsepower increase of 6.5 hp @ 7000 rpm and 3 HP at the top end without a power commander. Dynojet themselves, have tested the pipe and gained 9.5 HP @ 7000 rpm – that's an 11% power increase. We measured sound levels of 105 db at 7000 rpm as compared to 96 db for the stock exhaust.

Installation is straightforward. You do not have to cut your bodywork, although you do need to cut a stock bracket under the frame. The kit comes with detailed installation instructions and all mounting hardware.

Canisters are also available without trim for those running race bodywork.
